Lynda Slavinskis (B. (Hons)/LLB) is an outgoing, intuitive and commercially savvy lawyer who has a special way with people.  Lynda is the principal solicitor of Lynda Slavinskis Lawyers & Consultants (“LSLC”) a small yet dynamic legal practice in Ashburton in Melbourne’s inner east, specialising in business law. Within her business law practice, Lynda has also developed significant expertise in Wills and Estate Planning, particularly for her business clients.

Lynda gained big business experience as an in house solicitor at Sussan Corporation and Tattersall’s.  She now assists small and medium businesses (“SMEs”) with creative, cost effective and easy to understand legal solutions.  Her clients include wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers, designers, tradespeople and service providers, many of whom are exporters.  Lynda believes SMEs should have priority access to a lawyer who understands their needs.  Her vision is to empower SMEs by educating them about their rights and obligations and by helping them to establish processes which minimise legal risk.  Over 200 businesses in Victoria and nationally now call Lynda “our lawyer”.

Lynda provides advice in all areas of business law having particular niche expertise in:

  • International Trade (Export/Import)
  • Leases
  • Franchising and Licensing
  • Trademarks
  • Preparation of supplier agreements, terms and conditions and other business agreements
  • Acquisition and Sale of Business
  • Personal services in Wills and Estates and Conveyancing

Some of LSLC’s major clients past and present include Endota Spa, SED Consulting, Pole Divas, Hallmark, Lovitts, Sunny and Mozi.

Lynda is a popular speaker at Austrade and a variety of conferences and business networks. She also has a regular Blog called Export Matters on www.smartcompany.com.au.

Lynda is currently the only lawyer on the Victorian State Government’s Small Business Advisory Council, having recently been appointed for a second term.  She is the immediate past President of the Ashburton Traders’ Association.  Lynda was one of 6 finalists in the 2006 Victorian Telstra Business Woman of the Year Awards in the Westpac Business Owner Category.

Lynda is a singer, swimmer, passionate Richmond Football Club member, mother to baby boy Elijah and her Bengal cats Frankie and Sabrina.  She speaks fluent French.
